I could write everything day about how wonderful this fresh toshiba digital tuner dvd recorder is however won’t waste your time with facts numerous won’t understand genuine saying i have be using 3 panasonic dvd recorders with built inside analog tuners for over 3 years. I received this unit inside july when it became available moreover it is great. Look not further if you are looking for a dvd recorder with a built inside digital tuner. It works flawlessly, is priced crude in the manner of amazon moreover i have not had one coaster yet or had it not accept a particular brand of blank media even though i recommend sticking with the superior tayio-yuden dvds made inside japan. The panasonics were everything picky about brands of blank dvds moreover the different formats they put up be purchased inside. I found this unit was pretty easy over set increased moreover next scanning for everything available channels upon my cable system i was ready over go. The recorded results i stimulate next recording upon any of the digital or high def channels are beautiful. To stimulate the best picture, i always record upon the alternate high def digital channel that is available upon everything the major networks including 3 pbs channels upon my cable system. My one complaint is what another reviewer has mentioned, the horrible tiny, dull grey printing upon the dark black remote control! If only they had used bright white paint instead of the dull gray print upon the black case owners might have be able over see what command you are pushing. It is almost impossible over read without bright light inside the room. I have learned over remember what button is which from memory however Toshiba DR570 DVD Recorder makes me crazy thinking if they had only used the same white print they placed upon the tiny buttons! I am sorry i cannot write more giving details about this recorder however you put up stimulate that elsewhere. I will genuine tell you this product does what it is supposed over do perfectly moreover does it very well. I highly recommend this unit moreover the price has dropped since i bought mine inside july making it even a better deal.
