We upright bought a van also did not want to spend $1500 as the upper dvd gambler. I researched portable dvds thoroughly also decided on this compromise. Picture is not in the same way good in the same way some, except sound is decent, also group is built to withstand some abuse. I tested battery life, also in the same way expected, did not get anywhere touching the 13 hour battery life advertised. I second-hand the daylight setting as brightness also had the volume along to max level to refresh real use conditions. The dvd gambler lasted 5 hours. I am sure if you use the “moonlight” setting (darker pic), you will get longer battery life, except so is not how we will be using the dvd gambler. We want the best pic possible. So am happy with this gambler then far. We second-hand the mojo dvd mount as between the fore seats also the group works well-the mount is easily installed/removed. Panasonic DVD-LS86 Player could be finer materials, except we were happy to get away from the hanging bag option. Also, the audio out lefthand is directly in the path of the velcro attachment on the mojo, then not ideal, except the lefthand can still be utilized.
